Job Description:
1st National Bank in Lebanon, Ohio, is seeking an experienced and motivated Loan Servicing Representative to join our team. This position is perfect for a self-starter who is adaptable, solution-oriented, and confident in handling challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Insurance Administration: Manage hazard and flood premium payments, monitor flood insurance policies, process insurance cancellations, and arrange for forced-place insurance as needed.
- Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI): Handle monthly PMI payments, process cancellations, send required notices, and coordinate inspections.
- Escrow Administration: Distribute escrow notices, assist with real estate tax payments, monitor accounts for exceptions/delinquencies, and conduct annual analyses.
- Collections/Loss Mitigation: Contact delinquent homeowners, provide status updates to the loan committee, and implement strategies to prevent foreclosure (e.g., loan modifications, repayment plans, short sales, Deed in Lieu). Prepare and deliver GSE/PMI delinquency reports.
Qualifications and Abilities:
- Previous experience in lending, loss mitigation, and familiarity with Freddie Mac guidelines.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues.
- Collaborate on projects within the department or across functions.
- Cross-train in areas within Loan Servicing to provide support during changes in volume.
- Perform other related job duties and special projects as assigned.
Compensation:
- $40,000–$50,000 per year, based on previous experience.
